MA Project Week 9: Idea generation, preliminary and developmental work, iterative design solutions
Process diagram development chart: one
In the first diagram I have tried to add the basic functions of when you open the website and what are the different paths you can explore. This is will depend whether it is your first time accessing the website or whether you are a returning user. I have then walked through how the buddy matching process will be laid out and what to do if you have problems logging in. As the program will be used on school grounds only and under the teacher supervision (most likely in a library or computer lab) then if the user gets stuck, they can ask for help from a teacher.

Moving on to the features on the dashboard, I have tried to display where each feature on the dashboard will take the user. I think this bit I could elaborate on but I need to think more carefully about each section e.g. the school map, timetable, need help? Activity calendar and the instant message section where they can contact their buddy directly.
Administration: Next steps
The nest stage of the process diagrams is looking into them in more detail and also adding on the administrator’s side of the user diagram. This side should be more basic but it is very important to look at to make sure all data can be input, observed and preserved safely and easily from the teacher’s side.
